Fine Art

The pictures in the fine art gallery are by Richard Brooks and all are available as high quality giclee prints to order from this site.

The Giclee printing process gives very accurate colour reproduction which is virtually indistinguishable from the original painting. Using modern digital technology images are produced on high quality Art paper, which gives a textured surface suitable for watercolour reproductions. Reproductions of Richard’s oil paintings are best re-produced on stretched canvas. Giclee printing methods ensure that all colours retain their vibrancy as this process is light fast for up to 70 years, thereby making an investment in a giclee print the image you buy now is a potential heirloom or collector’s item longer term and should hold its value.

Most of the images can be printed to the original size or to a standard metric size paper such as A3 (16.5 x 11.75 inches or 300mm x 420mm). The larger original paintings do not reproduce well below A3 size paper. We do not hold stock, so please allow 28 days for the printing, packaging and posting of your order. You will need to specify the size of fine art print you require when you place your order, see the fine art gallery for details of the sizes available.
Please refer to the trading terms and conditions at A before contacting us.

Richard is also able to undertake commissions from clients who want an original painting. Prices will vary depending on the size required, the subject matter and medium being used. Please note he does not paint portraits or animals, his specialist skills are in landscapes, urban scenes, snow scenes and seascapes, in watercolour or oil paint.
Please refer to the trading terms and conditions at B before contacting us. You can then contact us by email at the address on the home page or by telephone.
